Healing on the Streets
On 24th January 2009 I was involved in the launch of a ministry of praying for healing on the streets of Burgess Hill.
Following the model pioneered by Mark Marx at Causeway Coast Vineyard Church in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, a team has since gone out every Saturday morning from 10.30am-12.30pm. The presence of God is invited and those He brings are prayed for. It is the most gentle and loving ministry and brings Jesus into the lives of many who would never venture into church.
In January 2012 I was asked by Mark Marx to become a regional HOTS trainer for the south and I am available to give advice or training.
John’s story: John came to our training weekend in January. He had a rash on his hands and up his arms, which were not responding to treatment, and which had caused him to take time off work. He received prayer and went away. Two weeks later he came to us on the street and reported a significant improvement. He received further prayer. Several weeks later he came back again to show us his hands and arms that were now completely healed. John has been impacted by the love of Jesus who did this for him.
