Church Weekends
“Simon led our church weekend. It was undoubtedly a turning point in our life together. Clear and relevant teaching, an evident passion for Jesus, openness to God, and a sense of humour allied to a prophetic edge. Ordinary folk were encouraged, strengthened and challenged in their following of Christ.”
Rev Gary Simmons, Rector of St Mary’s, Slaugham, West Sussex
The 6:19 Trust exists to encourage the church, and there is no better time to do this than on a weekend away. I will always tailor how I speak to your individual situation and to what I sense the Lord gives me at the time. Having said that, my vision is to see Christians enter more fully into an understanding of their identity as children of God, and to become more confident in living out of the authority and power that has been given to them – in other words not simply to believe in Jesus, but also to do the things that He did; to tell people about the Kingdom of God and at the same time show them what it looks like.
To give you a flavour of what to expect these are some of the titles that I have spoken under at church weekends and also holiday weeks at Lee Abbey in Devon:
“Signs of Life”
“Filling a pew or building the Kingdom?”
“Help! My church seems irrelevant!”
“My God is so small, so weak and so feeble!”
